What is the objective of the course? What is it?
What does it train you for?

Specifically, within the healthcare profession of cardiocirculatory physiopathology and cardiovascular perfusion technician, graduates are healthcare professionals responsible for the duties established by Ministerial Decree No. 316 of the Ministry of Health dated July 27, 1998, as amended; that is, they operate and maintain equipment related to extracorporeal circulation techniques and hemodynamic techniques.

Their duties are exclusively technical in nature; they assist medical personnel in appropriate environments by providing essential guidance or operating, always under medical guidance, equipment for hemodynamic diagnostics or for the replacement of cardiovascular functions.

Graduates in cardiocirculatory physiopathology and cardiovascular perfusion techniques plan, manage, and evaluate the necessary measures for the proper functioning of the equipment for which they are responsible; they ensure the correct application of the required support techniques; they carry out their professional activities in public or private healthcare facilities, as employees or freelancers; They contribute to the training of support staff and directly contribute to professional development and research in their fields of expertise.
