The Degree programme is designed to address and enhance the emerging cultural, economic, and professional needs of the Sicilian and Italian production system, which is characterised by a dominant presence of artisan businesses and SMEs, accounting for over 99% of all active enterprises in 2024.
What do you learn?
The Degree programme aims to train specialists capable of: organising human resources; managing processes and financial, tangible, and intangible assets; monitoring and measuring the economic and sustainability performance of artisan enterprises and SMEs; analysing and managing production, organisational, and commercial processes, also from an integrated supply chain perspective; applying advanced techniques for planning, control, and performance evaluation; interpreting national and international regulatory frameworks; using quantitative (statistical and mathematical) tools for the analysis of management processes; and formulating and implementing strategies for economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
What can you do with it?
Graduates will be able to work as general managers and consultants in the administrative, strategic, and organisational management of enterprises, with particular focus on SMEs; work in private companies within the manufacturing, craft, commercial, and service sectors, as well as in consulting firms, professional practices, financial institutions, and representative bodies; contribute to the development of innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation processes within enterprises; carry out economic and financial analysis and management control activities; work in the public sector, local authorities, chambers of commerce, and third-sector organisations; and take part in national and international programmes and projects concerning economic policies, territorial competitiveness, sustainability, and SME development.
